Project “MacroInflation” is implemented within the framework of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan 2021–2026 and is financed by European Union funds through the NextGenerationEU instrument.
Basic information and workshop goals:
It is our great pleasure to invite you to the workshop on business cycles and nonlinear empirical models!
The workshop has several complementary goals. First, we will cover the standard methods used for business cycle analysis and we will apply those methods to commonly used macroeconomic data. Second, we apply the models to economic data. Finally, will briefly discuss new developments in the applied macroeconomics literature from the last few years that illustrate more advanced applications of the standard methods. The most recent work will be selected for breadth rather than depth and it’s intended to showcase different extensions and applications. Finally, we will have a chance to discuss our own research which will hopefully lead to future collaborations. This workshop was funded by the European Union NextGenerationEU under Call IIP 581 2025.
